The Pinnacles are an amazing collection of limestone formations in Nambung National Park on the coast of Western Australia, north of Perth. On a clear, hot day, the vivid contrast of bright yellow sands and rich blue skies, makes a walk around the pillars a strange experience. And the landscape is constantly changing due to the shifting sand dunes throughout the park.

Purnululu National Park, better known as the Bungle Bungles, is a incredible natural formation in the north-east of Western Australia. I had been looking forward to seeing the Bungles as much as anything else on my round the world trip. And so I took a two day road trip down the highway from Kununurra.
