Route: Cat Bells CP - Skelgill Bank - Cat Bells - Bull Crag - Maiden Moor - Blea Crag - High Spy - Rigghead Quarries - Allerdale Ramble - Grange - Brackenburn - Cat Bells CP (9.6 miles, 2949ft total ascent)
Notes: An easy walk along the ridge from Cat Bells, my progress not hindered by a biting wind or drizzle, though it made photography more challenging. A brief respite in the shelter of the High Spy cairn, as the weather closed in around Dale Head, before heading off down Tongue Gill to join the Allerdale Ramble and eventually back to the car.
